Cara

She’s the quirky, cheeky model from the UK with a stunning face and attitude to match. Cara Delevingne (born August 12, 1992) is a fashion model that breaks the traditional conventions of the modeling world.  After becoming the face of iconic English brand Burberry in 2011, Delevingne quickly became a face not to be missed in the fashion world.

As one of my favourite models it was her unique personality that enticed me to find out more about the London beauty.  Often spotted with her sister and fellow model Poppy Delevingne these sisters are the grand daughters of former English Heritage boss Sir Jocelyn Stevens who was also the founder of the 60s priate radio station. Cara grew up in an exciting environment with friends such as the Jaggers and Lily Allen’s family being named childhood playmates, causing the word ‘normal’ to be one unfamiliar to the young Brit.

Having walked in fashion shows for Burberry Prorsum, Chanel, DKNY, Dolce & Gabanna, Jason Wu and Oscar de la Renta to name a few it is clear that high fashion is second nature to Delevingne.

Working in the fashion world is a tough gig.  Being a model opens up a whole realm of pressures and negative stereotypes that many try to avoid.  It is Cara’s relaxed and goofy attitude that makes her so appealing and fresh in the modeling world.

Signed with agencies in Milan, London, New York and Paris, it is safe to say this girl is an international sensation.  Further to this though, Cara also has plans to become a face of Hollywood after making her acting debut alongside Jude Law and Keira Knightley in a film to be released later this year called Anna Karenina.

Cara is also notorious for her unique ability to pull some of the most ridiculous faces seen to date.  Making her that much more of a relatable 20 year old.
